Beverly Paul

Session: Conservation and Farm Policy: 2027 and Beyond



Beverly Paul is the founder of Davenport Policy and represents clients on food and agriculture issues. Her areas of expertise include agricultural conservation and climate, nutrition, crop insurance and research, as well as political strategy. Previously, she worked at Gordley Associates for more than 20 years. On Capitol Hill, Paul was a legislative assistant to Sen. Bob Kerrey, for whom she was a key staffer on the 2000 crop insurance reform legislation, and for Sen. Ben Nelson. Paul graduated from the University of Nebraska and earned a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin. She lives in Washington, D.C., and is an active kitten foster for her local animal shelter.
