Kirk Jones is an accomplished educator, coach, and leadership development expert with over 15 years of experience spanning education, athletics, and professional learning. Along with facilitating leadership development workshops as part of AKJ Consulting, he currently serves as Enterprise Program Manager at BetterLesson, where he leads large-scale professional development initiatives for major school districts and educational organizations nationwide. Kirk’s career includes leadership roles at Wildfire Leadership and 7 Mindsets, where he helped implement transformative leadership and mindset strategies across schools and athletic programs. A former principal, athletic director, and varsity basketball coach, he brings a deep understanding of team dynamics, culture-building, and personal growth. Kirk holds degrees from Defiance College, North Georgia College & State University, and Bowling Green State University, and lives in Ohio with his wife Tricia and their three children.
