Allan King, Jr. is a seasoned leader in athletics, coaching, and professional development, known for building winning cultures and fostering student-athlete success. Along with facilitating leadership development workshops as a part of AKJ Consulting, he currently serves as the athletic director at Allen East Local Schools and previously spent four years as head women’s basketball coach at Defiance College. His coaching career spans both collegiate and high school athletics, including key roles at Wilmington College, Pitt-Bradford, Capital University, and Russia High School, where he led a historic postseason run. Allan is passionate about leadership and personal development, working to empower coaches and athletic professionals to grow their impact and effectiveness. He holds a Sport Management degree from Bluffton University and a Master of Arts in Education from Heidelberg University, and he and his wife Maria are proud parents of five children.
