Mike Kooy is an Amplify consultant who works with golf courses across Canada, providing agronomic advice and recommendations. He leverages a broad range of testing services from Brookside Labs to help deliver the best recommendations to his clients.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University and is completing his Master’s in Plant Agriculture at the University of Guelph. He has written for several Canadian golf industry publications, with a particular focus on OM246 testing and turf surface performance.

Mike was first introduced to the Amplify network at the 2023 Amplify Conference in San Antonio. Since then, he has continued to build his consulting practice with guidance from Corrie Almack, who brings over 40 years of experience with Amplify and has helped shape Mike's early consulting career.
