Randy Darr

Session: Resilient Agriculture: Strategic Input Reduction

   After growing up on a once traditional farm from the 1960’s through the early 1980’s, Randy graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education, in 1986. In the fall of 1986, he started Soil-Right Consulting Services, Inc. under the mentorship of Bob Boehle.  In 2011, Randy received an MBA from Missouri Baptist University. In 2017, he became a John C. Maxwell Certified Leadership Trainer, through the John Maxwell Team organization. Randy also served 9 years on the Brookside Board of Directors. 

    Soil-Right is staffed by Randy as founder, Boone Raney as CEO, Seth Darr as COO, and Brandon Robinson as Co COO. Soil-Right currently works with farmers in parts of 8 states and currently looking to move into Texas. On the agenda is to work with more turf clients in the St. Louis Metro area.

    Randy and his wife Deborah were married in 1987. They have 4 children and currently 11 grandchildren. Randy spends time with several community organizations and currently does missions work in the Dominican Republic.
